Jesus calls! These four young ladies are listening!

We, the Missionary Sisters of Jesus, Mary & Joseph, have been blessed with four young ladies that are considering God’s calling to Religious life. They have dedicated three days and two nights to a live in with our sisters in San Antonio and Corpus Christi, Texas.

We began in our chapel in San Antonio with Sisters Maria and Juanita. They received a journal to begin their journey of discernment.

The first day and night was spent with our sisters in San Antonio, Texas.  We began with a prayer and blessing in our chapel.  A journal was a gift to each one and their first entry was a personal letter to Jesus asking for his guidance on the road of ahead of them as they search for God’s will in their lives.  We spent the day getting to know each other and learning about what is religious life.

The sisters from our Mount Tabhor convent in Corpus Christi, Texas shared their meals, prayer and their own stories of how they were called to religious life .  Each one had a very different way that God called them.
